GREAT OLTREPO' RED WINES
We have three varieties on the market: Rosso Riserva 1998 Vintage, Bonarda 2001 vintage, aged in oak barrels, and "classic" Bonarda, again 2001 vintage. Still, red DOC wines.

We at Azienda Agricola Montenato Griffini are well aware of the fact that we represent an atypical set-up in the area, but our decision to focus exclusively on still red wines remains firm, given our conviction that for a small set-up, only heavy specialization will yield truly excellent results.

We at Azienda Agricola Montenato Griffini have great faith in the enormous potential of Oltrepò Pavese and are convinced that it is currently the most underrated area, at least in northern Italy, just as we believe that it is primarily up to us producers to raise our beautiful land to the level of its currently more noble "cousins".
